Show YouTube videos in fullscreen dialog
Due to technical limitation in the Atlassian Confluence Cloud, the native YouTube fullscreen mode is not supported, but our app provides some workarounds to get a similar fullscreen experience.
All YouTube for Confluence macros such as “YouTube video” or “YouTube playlist” provide the following options to define how the fullscreen dialog can be accessed:
YouTubeIcon: Clicking the standard You Tube icon opens the fullscreen dialog.
ConfluenceButton: A button to open the fullscreen dialog is added below the YouTube player.
Disabled: Fullscreen support is disabled.
Convert YouTube URLs in Confluence edit mode
YouTube content can be embedded into Confluence by just copy & pasting YouTube URLs.
With this features it has never been easier to include YouTube content in your Confluence pages. You only have to edit a Confluence page and paste the YouTube URL.
