Due to technical limitation in the Atlassian Confluence Cloud, the native YouTube fullscreen mode is not supported, but our app provides some workarounds to get a similar fullscreen experience.

All YouTube for Confluence macros such as “YouTube video” or “YouTube playlist” provide the following options to define how the fullscreen dialog can be accessed:

• YouTubeIcon: Clicking the standard You Tube icon opens the fullscreen dialog.

• ConfluenceButton: A button to open the fullscreen dialog is added below the YouTube player.

• Disabled: Fullscreen support is disabled.

YouTube content can be embedded into Confluence by just copy & pasting YouTube URLs.

With this features it has never been easier to include YouTube content in your Confluence pages. You only have to edit a Confluence page and paste the YouTube URL.
