The table shows the table data grouped by the first and second columns (“Location” and “Department”). As grouping makes most sense when also ordered by the columns that are used for grouping, a fixed ordering is defined for those two columns. Besides the grouping feature, the table also demonstrates how a footer can be used to calculate the average value of a column (column “Age” in the example above).
