What is the app’s “data protection mode”?

As described in our documentation Confluence administrators can enable a global “data protection mode”. This global configuration is taken into account whenever the app (more precisely the app’s macros) process any data. If the “data protection mode” is enabled, all functionalities where data would need to be processed by the app’s servers (managed by weweave) are disabled. In other words, the “data protection mode” ensures the data does not leave the Atlassian cloud and the user's browser. If you have any further questions, please contact us.
